Tim Brauch documentary!
In 1996 the Warriors crew started to go togheter skateboarding all over Switzerland and Europe.
One time there was a Sole tech demo in a very funny skatepark where we used to go very often. Sattel skatepark.
I think that was an Emerica demo.
There was Ed Templeton, Navarrette, a very very young Rick McCrank and TIm M. Brauch.
Needless to say that this skaters was a really important figure for our skateboarding life and how we see skateboarding today.
Tim Brauch was riding the park like a god.
His style and the way he used the transitions were unbeliveble!
Tim got stucked with us and we became good friends.
Not the friends that you call everyday. The friends that you know they gonna be forever.
Some years after, all the warriors were having fun at the Grand Prix of skateboarding in Lausanne.
All the big pros were there and also Tim.
At night everybody were at one bar near the train station.
We were having so much fun and all our heroes were there with us.
We did some warriors t/shirts (the first one's with a sktchy skull) and everybody wanted to have one.
Only few got the t/shirt and one of them was Tim.
Years after I went for the first time in U.S.A.
One night I went alone to skate in Milipitas.
The thursday's nights was like a session on, with a lot of good skaters and pros.
There was Caballero and a lot of very good core skaters.
After a moment I saw one guy with a T/shirt that looked like the old warriors skull T/s.
I went to him, it was the warriors t/s!!
I asked him how the hell was possible that he had one warriors t/s in the middle of California!
The guy told me that Tim Brauch said about us to everyone
and all his friends could use the t/shirt for a while and then pass it to the next one!
He also told me that Tim hanged the t/shirt in his room.
It was a great honor to hear that things.
I think only skateboarders can understand what I'm saying.
Some years after Tim Brauch died of sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 25.
It has been like loosing a good friend.
Now it's finally time for everyone to know Tim Brauch cause a documentary is coming out!!!
